About PokeShield

PokeShield was founded by two brothers, Sebastiaan and Julian. We’re collectors ourselves, and we know the feeling of finally getting your hands on that one box or slab. You want to keep it safe. But we kept running into the same problem: good protection was hard to find, often expensive, and you rarely knew exactly what you were getting.

So we decided to do it ourselves. With PokeShield, we want to give collectors sturdy protection they can count on, at a price that feels fair.

We’re a small company, and honestly, we like it that way. We pack every order ourselves, and when you send us a message, you’ll hear back from one of the two of us. And if you run into us at a convention, you’ll be talking to us in person.

Pokémon is expensive enough. We don’t think protecting it should be. That doesn’t mean cutting corners on quality, because that’s exactly where it starts.

An Elite Trainer Box, a booster box or a graded card can easily be worth a lot. It deserves a case that’s sturdy and protects it properly, without costing half of what’s inside. We import our cases ourselves and work without middlemen or an expensive storefront. That keeps our costs low, and we pass those savings on to you. Buy more at once, and the price per case drops even further.

No dropshipping, no detours. Our stock is right here in the Netherlands, waiting for its next owner.

With a lot of webshops, you order something that then spends weeks travelling from the other side of the world. Not with us. If something is in stock, it’s actually on our shelves. We pack your order ourselves: the case wrapped in bubble wrap, in its own box, and that box inside a sturdy shipping carton. So it arrives in one piece.

We sell acrylic, so being transparent is the least we can do. That’s why we publish the millimetres, and that’s why we publish our test results, measured with a calibrated gauge.

For every case, you’ll find the exact inner and outer dimensions and the thickness of the acrylic. Not “fits most boxes”, just the numbers, so you know beforehand whether your box or slab will fit. And whatever we say about our cases, we measure ourselves. You don’t have to take our word for it: you can simply check.
